I've been prescribed Furosemide 10mg/ml for my heart condition, and I've been experiencing some issues. Has anyone else had problems with this medication? I know it does a job, getting rid of extra fluid that I don't need, but there are days where it makes me feel awful and dehydrated. Please share your stories and tips on managing this medication.

Hard pass for me. I tried it once and the dizziness was just too much. Ended up in the ER.

Furosemide is a powerful diuretic. I've been on it for my kidney issues. It works, but it can mess with your electrolytes. Make sure to monitor your sodium and potassium levels.

I’ve had good experiences with Furosemide. My liver disease made it hard to manage fluid retention. I drink lots of water and monitor my sodium levels. It's been a game-changer.

I've been on Furosemide for a while now and it's helped a lot with my edema, but I do notice some side effects. I've found that drinking plenty of fluids and eating potassium-rich foods helps with the muscle cramps and weakness.

I don't get it. How can something that makes you pee so much be good for you? Isn't that just dehydrating you more?

It's a tough one to manage, but it's crucial for some conditions. I think the key is to stay hydrated and keep an eye on those electrolytes. I've heard that eating a banana a day helps with the potassium.
