I've been on Glucotrol XL 2.5mg for about six months now to help manage my type 2 diabetes. It's been a game-changer in keeping my blood sugar levels stable. I take it once a day, and it's convenient that way. However, I've experienced some side effects like dizziness and occasional nervousness. Has anyone else had similar experiences? How do you manage them? Also, I'm curious about others' experiences with this medication. Do the side effects subside over time, or is it something you have to deal with indefinitely? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I get really nervous and jittery when I take this, but it works for me.

I'm a bit hesitant to start this medication because of the side effects. Has anyone had a bad experience with Glucotrol XL?

I've been on Glucotrol XL for a while and have had some mild side effects like gas and occasional diarrhea, but nothing too bad. I've found that taking it with food helps a lot. As for the dizziness, it's usually a sign of low blood sugar. Make sure you're eating regularly and monitoring your glucose levels.

I've had good experiences with Glucotrol XL. I've had no side effects at all.

I've found that exercising regularly has helped me manage my blood sugar levels even better when combined with Glucotrol XL. It's also helped with some of the side effects, like feeling jittery. Just make sure to monitor your glucose levels closely, especially if you're cutting back on carbs.

I had a really bad reaction to Glucotrol XL. I started getting hives and my throat felt really tight. I had to go to the ER. It was terrifying. I ended up switching to a different medication.

I've been on Glucotrol XL for about a year now, and I haven't had any serious side effects. I did experience some dizziness at the beginning, but it went away after a few weeks. I think it's important to give your body time to adjust to the medication and have close contact with your doctor.
