I was recently prescribed Nuplazid 34mg Capsules to help with hallucinations and delusions related to Parkinson's. It's a powerful medication, and I'd love to hear from others who are taking it or have taken it in the past. My doctor said it works differently than other meds, targeting specific brain chemicals to reduce symptoms without worsening motor symptoms. Seems promising, but I'm curious to know more about your experiences and any side effects you may have encountered. The drug information sheet mentions some serious side effects like allergic reactions and severe dizziness, which makes me a bit concerned. How can I balance taking the medication with pushing back against potential impact on my health? Do other people have any tips on managing these side effects or knowing when to contact a doctor? It would be great to hear from caregivers and patients alike.

Nuplazid helped me a lot with the hallucinations, but I had to stop because of the severe dizziness. It was scary at times. But I think everyone is different, so don’t give up if you get through the side effects. Make sure you and your doctor are on the same page about your treatment and adjusting dosages.

This medication is definitely a double-edged sword. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, but make sure you are closely monitored by your healthcare provider. Nuplazid works differently and the side effects are worth the tradeoff of the reduction in hallucinations for me. Definitely worth it.

I've had a positive experience with Nuplazid. It's reduced the severity of the hallucinations and hasn't caused any major side effects so far. Just make sure to report any changes to your doctor. They can really help you.

I noticed significant improvements in my symptoms with Nuplazid. The side effects weren’t too bad, and they seemed to subside over time. What really matters is how it’s improving your overall quality of life. I highly recommend discussing with a neurologist. Not a doctor, but it really helped me.

My mother was prescribed Nuplazid for Parkinson's hallucinations, but the side effects were too much to bear. She experienced severe dizziness and swelling in her arms. We had to stop the medication, but we’re working with the doctor to find something else. Nuplazid can be dangerous for some people.

I've had upset stomach issues since I started taking it. Anyone else experience this?
