I've been prescribed Xanax XR 3mg Tablets for my panic disorder and I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How has it worked for you? Have you experienced any of the serious side effects listed? I'm mostly concerned about the cognitive side effects like memory loss and confusion. Also, how do you cope with the drowsiness and fatigue? Looking forward to hearing your stories and advice!

I'll swear up and down that using Xanax XR has improved my panic attacks and my general anxiety. I've never missed a dose since it's helped me so much. I don't have trouble breathing or staying calm and it's like my anxiety has never existed. I'm not sure what side effects other people may be experiencing, but for me, it's been a miracle drug.

I've been on Xanax XR for about 6 months now and it's been a game-changer for my panic attacks. I barely feel drowsy anymore, but I did in the beginning. Just give it time and it should pass. But do watch out for the dry mouth, it's a bitch. I snack on gum and sugar-free candies to keep my mouth wet. It sucks but beats the anxiety.

I've had issues with changes in appetite and weight gain. I'm not sure if it's directly related to the Xanax, but it's happened since I started taking it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Xanax XR has been a lifesaver for my panic disorder. I used to have attacks multiple times a day, and now I can go weeks without one. It's not perfect, but it's made a huge difference in my quality of life. I've had some mild side effects like changes in sex drive, but nothing too bad. And honestly, it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make.

I took Xanax XR for a while, but the side effects were too much for me. I experienced some memory issues and confusion, which was scary. I ended up switching to another medication that works better for me.

For me, the drowsiness was so bad at first that I couldn't drive or do much of anything. But after a few weeks, it got better. I just had to be patient and careful. Be sure to take it at night if you can, that way you can sleep through most of the drowsiness.

I had a weird reaction to Xanax XR where I felt like I was drunk all the time. It was awful. I went to the doctor and they told me it was a rare side effect. I had to switch to a different medication.

Be careful with this stuff. I've seen people get dependent on it way too easily. I remember one of my friends had a bad case of panic attacks and his doctor prescribed him Xanax. It was okay for a while, but he ended up needing more and more of it. It's a slippery slope.

I've been on Xanax XR for a few months, and while it helps with my panic attacks, I've noticed some cognitive issues. I tend to forget things more easily and have trouble concentrating sometimes. Has anyone else experienced this?

This thread is full of good advice. Just be patient, and don't give up at the first sign of drowsiness. It can take a while for your body to adjust.
