Hello everyone,

I've recently started taking Xcopri (cenobamate) for my focal-onset seizures and wanted to hear from others who have experience with the 150-200mg Maintenance Pak 56. How has it been working for you? Specifically, I'm interested in hearing about side effects and how they have impacted daily life. Some of the urgent side effects listed have me a bit worried, so any insights on managing these or avoiding them would be greatly appreciated.

I've had dizziness for the first few days and was wondering if anybody else experienced something similar and how long did it last?

Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences you can share!

My doctor said that suicidal thoughts are a big concern with this med. Be sure to stay in close contact with your support system and keep an eye on your mental health. It’s serious stuff.

I've been on Xcopri for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer for my seizures. The dizziness was rough at first, but it subsided after a couple of weeks. Just take it easy when you start and listen to your body.

I’ve heard that some people have had better luck with other meds. If this one isn’t working for you, don’t be afraid to talk to your doctor about other options. There are other drugs out there.

I started with the 12.5 mg tablets and worked my way up to the 100 mg. It’s seriously helped with my seizures, but it’s a bit of a slow process, especially as you wait for the body to adjust. Take it slow and your body will adapt. Just be patient.

I had a really rough time with the allergic reactions. The rash was terrible, and I had to stop taking it. Just be cautious and monitor yourself closely. Your skin will thank you.
