Sharing my experience with Cefprozil 250mg/5ml Susp 50ml - Has anyone else struggled with side effects?
I was prescribed Cefprozil 250mg/5ml Susp 50ml for an ear infection and I'm on day 3 of taking it. So far, I've had some mild stomach upset, but nothing too bad. I've been reading about the potential side effects and it's a bit scary, especially the severe reactions. Has anyone else taken this and had any issues, or even worse, the really serious side effects? It's important to finish the course and I understand that, but I'm curious to hear from others who have been through this.

I'm on day 5 and my throat feels better, but my stomach is a mess. I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble. Just hoping this goes away after I finish the course.
I had hives and itching while on this. I was freaked out so I stopped taking it and called my doctor. She switched me to something else and I was fine. Trust your instincts if something feels off.

I took this for a sinus infection and had no issues at all. I wish I had as little side effects as you and the infection was totally gone after 5 days!
I had a bad reaction to this once and ended up in the ER. It was scary, so if you feel any serious symptoms, go to the hospital. Don't wait it out.
