I was recently prescribed Enoxaparin 100mg/1ml for blood clots and have been doing self-injections in my stomach area as instructed. I'm trying to understand and manage some side effects that have come up. I've had some bruising and irritation at the injection site, but I'm more concerned about feeling constantly tired and weak. I've also noticed some swelling in my arms. Has anyone else dealt with similar issues? I want to talk to my doctor, but I'd like to be informed in the meantime. This seems like a great thread to discuss side effects. If you're taking this medication, I'd love to hear about your experiences. Here is the link to the FDA for reporting any side effects I experience: https://www.fda.gov/medwatch.

Make sure you're rotating injection sites. I had a lot of bruising at first because I was using the same spot. Always use a different area of your stomach, and it really helps.

I didn't know Enoxaparin could cause neurological symptoms. I've been feeling a bit off lately, so I might need to talk to my doctor about that.

I also felt really tired when I started taking Enoxaparin. My doctor advised me to take it easy for the first few weeks. It got better with time, I am sure you will feel better too.

I think the bruising might be due to the injection technique. Make sure you're pinching the skin properly and injecting at a 90-degree angle. It's really important to follow the right steps when using this drug. Also, rotating the site worked really well for me. I hope the tiredness is temporary. Good luck!

Ugh, the injection site pain is the worst. I've started using a smaller needle and it makes a huge difference. I also heard you can use a numbing cream before injecting. I am sure you will get used to it and become more experienced with the injections.

I've been on Enoxaparin for a while, and I haven't had any major issues. Just a bit of irritation at the injection site, but it's manageable. I use a numbing cream before injecting, and it helps a lot. I've had this issue for a little while and I am sure that it will get better in time.
