I've been taking Fluvoxamine 100mg ER capsules for social anxiety disorder. The extended-release means I only have to take it once a day, which is convenient. I've noticed some improvements in my symptoms, but I'm also experiencing some side effects like dizziness and insomnia. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What did you do to manage the side effects? I've heard this can help with serotonin syndrome too if you're combining meds.

I've been on Fluvoxamine for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my social anxiety. I started with 50mg and worked my way up to 100mg. The side effects were tough at first—mainly nausea and fatigue—but they subsided after a couple of weeks. I found that taking it with food helped a lot. As for serotonin syndrome, it's crucial to talk to your doctor about all your medications. It's not worth the risk!

I’ve heard that some people have trouble sleeping on Fluvoxamine. If you are having trouble sleeping, try not to take it close to bedtime. Sometimes switching up the time of day you take it can make a difference.

Fluvoxamine ER has been a mixed bag for me. While it’s helped with my social anxiety, I’ve had some weird side effects like changes in taste and excessive sweating. I’m not sure if I can tolerate it but I want to give it more time. My advice: keep a log of your symptoms and talk to your doctor regularly. Some side effects can be managed.

I'm really glad I found this thread. I've been hesitant to start Fluvoxamine because of the side effects, but hearing that some people adjust and feel better is reassuring. I think I'll give it a try.

I switched from a different SSRI to Fluvoxamine and it's made a big difference. The extended-release formula is a lifesaver—I don’t have to worry about taking it multiple times a day. I did get some headaches and stomach issues, but my doctor adjusted the dosage and it got better. It's worth trying if you're struggling with social anxiety.

Anyone else feel like they’re walking around in a daze? I swear this med makes me feel a bit detached sometimes. It’s a weird feeling and can be a bit disorienting.

Serotonin syndrome is no joke. I had a friend who ended up in the ER because of it. If you're taking other meds that affect serotonin, be extra careful. Talk to your doctor about all your meds, even supplements.

Be careful with this medication. I had a friend who had a really bad reaction to it. She ended up with hives and swelling. It was scary. But I guess everyone's different. Still, I would stay away from it if you can.

I've been on Fluvoxamine for a year now and it's been great. I can actually go to social events without feeling like I'm going to have a panic attack. The side effects were tough at first, but they got better. Stick with it if you can.

I wish more people talked about the sexual side effects. It’s been a bummer for me. I’ve been having trouble getting an erection and it’s affecting my relationship. Anyone else dealing with this?
