I was recently prescribed Inderal 40mg Tablets to help prevent migraines. I've been taking them for about a month now, and I wanted to share my experience. So far, I've noticed a significant reduction in the frequency and severity of my migraines, which is great. However, I have been experiencing some dizziness and occasional vivid dreams, which can be a bit unsettling. Has anyone else had similar side effects, or am I just imagining things? Also, what are some tips for managing the side effects?

I noticed my blood pressure dropping too low on this and got lightheaded and faint. Would be better if I could manage migraines without the fatigue. I'm on a different med now, it's helping a lot more.

I was prescribed Inderal after a heart procedure. The headaches were actually a bit worse, and I did experience the coldness in my extremities. I switched to Atenolol and it's been much better.

I actually find that the vivid dreams are kind of enjoyable—like my brain is having a vacation. But I do get the dizziness a lot when I first start walking around in the morning, so I take it slow.

I had severe dizziness with this medication and my doctor switched me to Topamax. Works a lot better for me and no dizziness.

I've had great success with Inderal for both migraines and anxiety. Just make sure to avoid sudden changes in body position to minimize dizziness, and that should help.

I've been on Inderal for a few years now for my migraines, and I can definitely relate. The vivid dreams can be a bit weird, but nothing too bad and my migraines are much easier to manage.

If you are taking this for migraines, be sure to avoid caffeine. It makes the headaches worse.

Dizziness and fatigue are common but usually subside after a few weeks. Try taking your dose with food and see if that helps. You can also talk to your doctor about adjusting the dosage. Just don't stop taking it abruptly—you can have rebound migraines.
