I was recently prescribed Lamictal ODT 200mg Tablets to help stabilize my mood. I've been struggling with bipolar disorder for a while, and my doctor thinks this could help. The ODT form is actually really convenient, it dissolves quickly in your mouth without water. I'm just starting out on this medication, so I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with it. Has anyone else had success with Lamictal for bipolar disorder? How long did it take to see improvements in your mood? Also, I've read that it can have some serious side effects, so I'm a bit worried about that. Has anyone experienced anything bad? What should I watch out for? I'm really hoping this helps, but I'm also a bit nervous about starting a new medication.

I started with the regular tablets and switched to ODT because I hated swallowing pills. The ODT version is so much easier to take. I haven't had any serious side effects, just some dizziness at first, but that went away.

I've been on Lamictal for a couple of years now, and it's been a game-changer for my bipolar disorder. It took a few months to find the right dosage, but once we did, my mood stabilized significantly.

Be really careful with the side effects. I had a bad rash and my doctor had to switch me to another medication. It was scary, but I'm glad I caught it early. Just keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and report them to your doctor right away.

I've heard that some people experience changes in vision. If you notice anything weird with your eyes, definitely get that checked out.
