I was recently prescribed Lotensin HCT 5-6.25mg Tablets to help manage my high blood pressure. This combination medicine, with Benazepril and Hydrochlorothiazide, is supposed to help relax blood vessels and reduce the strain on my heart. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially any side effects you might have encountered. The possible side effects list (like swelling of the mouth, vision problems, confusion, and even skin cancer) is quite extensive, which can be a bit concerning. Do you think it's worth the risk?

My doctor recommended this to me as a last resort, and it’s been great so far. I wish the side effects list wasn’t so scary, though. It’s a bit intimidating, but so far, so good.

I had some really bad side effects from this medication. I started experiencing severe dizziness and even had a few episodes of blurred vision. I immediately contacted my doctor, and we decided to switch meds. It’s important to be cautious and listen to your body.

I've been on it for a year and have had no issues. The only thing is that I get really tired sometimes, but it could be from other things. My GP said it’s just part of the meds, but it’s not too bad.

I've been on Lotensin HCT for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. My blood pressure is much more stable, and I haven't experienced any serious side effects. Just a bit of dizziness sometimes, but it's manageable. Definitely worth a shot if you're struggling with high blood pressure!

I'm not sure if Lotensin HCT is worth the risks listed. The side effects sound a bit too extreme. But if you can get the effect you need and have no symptoms, it’s probably fine right?

I had to stop taking it because of some serious stomach pain. It wasn’t worth the risk for me. Be careful and talk to your doctor about any issues you have.
