I was recently prescribed Lurasidone 80mg tablets for my bipolar depression, and I must say, the experience has been a mix of positive and challenging moments. The medication has definitely helped stabilize my mood, which was a significant relief. However, I've noticed some side effects like dizziness and weight gain, which have been a bit bothersome. I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this medication. How have you managed the side effects, and has it improved your condition overall? Also, are there any tips for taking it with food that might help with the side effects?

I've had issues with high blood sugar and that's been a real headache. I have to monitor it constantly. I have a feeling it's the meds but I'll have to ask my doctor. I'm scared of more side effects.

I've had a mix of side effects but found that the benefits outweighed the negatives. I've experienced some hormonal changes, but nothing too severe. For me, the mood stabilization was worth it. I've also found that regular exercise and a healthy diet have helped manage some of the side effects, especially weight gain.

Have any of you experienced neuroleptic malignant syndrome? It sounds terrifying.

I had to stop taking it because of the weight gain. It was just too much to handle on top of everything else.

I've been on Lurasidone for a while now, and it's been a lifesaver. The dizziness is present but manageable. I always make sure to take it with a substantial meal to avoid any stomach issues. As for the side effects, talk to your doctor if they become unmanageable.

Lurasidone has been a game-changer for me. I've had a bit of drowsiness and some weight gain, but it's nothing compared to the stability it's brought to my life. I take it with a big breakfast every morning, and it seems to help with the side effects. Plus, I've found that staying hydrated has helped a lot with the dry mouth and constipation.

Why do they make us take these with food? Some days I just don't feel like it but my stomach can't handle it
