I just got my cataract surgery last month. The doctor prescribed Nevanac 0.1% Opht Susp 3ml for post-operative inflammation and pain. So far, it has been really effective for my eye pain and swelling. I wanted to ask if anyone else has used this eye drop? Are you experiencing any issues? The side effects listed are quite concerning, especially the urgent ones. How likely are they to occur, and has anyone had any issues with them? Also, is there anyone who has had trouble with the side effects? Additionally, how effective is this medication for others in comparison to other NSAIDs?

Anyone else notice that Nevanac can blur your vision a bit right after you use it? It's kind of annoying, but my doctor said it should go away quickly. It's worth it for the pain relief.

I had a terrible experience with Nevanac. Within a few days, I started getting a sticky feeling in my eye and it felt like there was something in it all the time. I called my doctor right away, and she switched me to another medication. It turned out I was having an allergic reaction.

This medication is a godsend. I had a friend who didn't use it after catheter surgery and had a lot more pain and swelling than I did. I was very lucky to have a doctor who prescribed it right away.

I had to switch to a different NSAID after a week because Nevanac was making my eye feel super dry. I feel like the information could have been clearer about this potential side effect. Anyone else experience this?

I've been using Nevanac for a week now, and it's been a lifesaver. The eye pain and swelling have significantly reduced. I haven’t experienced any side effects so far, but I'm being very careful. My doctor said the urgent side effects are rare, but you should always be vigilant.
