I was recently prescribed Paroxetine ER 25mg tablets by my doctor to help manage my anxiety disorder. As an extended-release tablet, the medication is designed to improve mood and reduce anxiety by increasing serotonin levels in the brain. I've been experiencing some drowsiness and dizziness, which are reportedly common side effects. I am curious to know if anyone else has taken this medication and what their experience was like. Were the side effects manageable and did your symptoms improve over time?

I've heard that leaving the medication in your system for the long term can have negative effects, anyone else experiencing this?

I've been on and off Paroxetine for years. I've found that it helps a lot with my panic attacks, but the side effects can be tough at times. It's a trade-off, but for me, it's worth it. Regular check ups with my doctor have helped me manage it though.

I had a bad experience with SSRIs in general. I experienced a lot of sexual side effects. I went off them and tried different treatments afterwards. It is a bit of a hassle to get the dosage right.

I started with a lower dose and gradually increased to the 25mg extended-release. It really helped with my depression, but I did have some sexual side effects. I had heard these were common with SSRIs. Is anyone else going through that?
