I've been using the Rowasa 4gm Kit (28 X 60ml) for a few months now to manage my ulcerative colitis, and I wanted to share my experience. This mesalamine rectal enema has been a game-changer for reducing inflammation in my colon and rectum. I've noticed a significant decrease in symptoms like abdominal pain and diarrhea. However, I've also experienced some side effects like rectal irritation and occasional stomach discomfort. My doctor reassured me that these are common and usually mild, but it's important to stay vigilant about any severe side effects that could indicate something more serious, like kidney problems or allergic reactions. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Rowasa, or can you share any tips for dealing with the side effects? I'd love to hear from others who have used this treatment.

Glad to hear that Rowasa is working for some of you. I've heard the side effects can be tough. Has anyone else had issues with bloating?

I had to stop using Rowasa because of severe allergic reactions. It's important for everyone to be aware of the symptoms and seek medical attention immediately if you experience any of them. My doctor prescribed a different medication, and I've been fine ever since. But Rowasa really helped me initially.

I had no idea that mesalamine enemas could cause such severe side effects! Hoping for the best and staying vigilant.

I've been on Rowasa for a month and it's been a rollercoaster. I've definitely noticed less inflammation, but the side effects are no joke. My nose and throat are always irritated. How do you guys deal with it?

I was really hesitant to try Rowasa because of the side effects, but my doctor assured me that they are rare. I've been using it for a few weeks and so far, so good. No side effects here!

Rowasa worked wonders for me. I did get some rectal irritation, but it went away after a few weeks. Stick with it if you can, it's worth it in the long run.
