Sharing my experience with Sodium Bicarbonate 325mg Tablets for Heartburn Relief and pH Balance
I've been dealing with persistent heartburn and indigestion lately, and my doctor recommended trying Sodium Bicarbonate 325mg Tablets. I was a bit skeptical at first, since it's such a common household remedy, but it turns out it's quite effective. It seems to work by neutralizing the stomach acid, which helps with the burning and discomfort. My doctor also mentioned that it can help balance the body's pH levels, which is something I've never considered before. I'm curious if anyone else has had the same experience or even more interesting uses for this medication. Have you noticed any side effects? I've been lucky so far but I'd be interested in hearing about how others are getting on.

I've used Sodium Bicarbonate for years for heartburn. It works like a charm and it's cheap and readily available in my kitchen cupboard! Haven't had any side effects either, just make sure you don't take too much at once.
I hate that I've heard about so many people with bad reactions to medications. I always leave a note on my fridge with all the medicines I am taking and any problems I have had with them. I always ask my doctor to check it too. It's like a medical diary.
I only use antacid based meds when I feel I have no other option. I always tell people to be careful about their diet and to avoid the things that set off their symptoms in the first place.
I wouldn't worry too much about gas, it's a common side effect for a lot of these sorts of medications. If it bothers you a lot then I would speak to your doctor about it.
I'm allergic to a lot of medications, but I've never had an issue with this. I've never seen sodium bicarbonate on those scary reaction lists which is a relief.
I wonder how effective this would be for someone with kidney problems who needs to balance their pH levels? I know some people can't just take anything, I wonder if this is safe?
I've used sodium bicarbonate for both heartburn and as a pH balancing solution in certain medical conditions. It's a versatile medicine, but you need to watch for those allergic reactions
