I was recently prescribed the Tresiba Flextouch Pen (U-200) for my type 2 diabetes. I've been using it for about a month now and have noticed significant improvements in my blood sugar levels. The U-200 concentration means I'm injecting half the volume for the same dose, which is a game-changer for someone like me who dreads larger injections. However, I've had a few questions and concerns that I hope some of you can help with. Has anyone else experienced some mild irritation at the injection site? I've also been curious about the long-term effects and any tips on managing side effects would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your insights!

I've noticed a bit of swelling in my arms. I think it might be related to the Tresiba but it could be something else. Anyone else experience this? I’ll definitely be bringing it up with my doctor.

I've been on Tresiba for a while now and it's been a lifesaver. The long-acting nature really helps keep my blood sugar steady overnight. I've had some mild weight gain but nothing too drastic. Has anyone else noticed this?

This thread is so helpful! Thanks for sharing your experiences. I've been considering Tresiba but was a bit nervous about switching insulins. And thanks everyone for your support

Everyone reacts differently to insulin. I've been using Tresiba for almost a year now. My biggest issue is the cost. Does anyone know if there are any good generic alternatives coming out soon?

I've been using Tresiba for a month, and it's been great. My A1C has improved from 8.5 to 7.2. I'm a big fan. No major side effects yet, but I'll keep you posted.

I had a really bad reaction to Tresiba. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER. Be careful and pay close attention to side effects.

The injection site irritation can be annoying, but it usually goes away after a few days. I've found that rotating injection sites helps a lot. Also, make sure to use the pen correctly to avoid air bubbles, which can affect dosing.
