Sharing my experience with Valtrex 500mg Tablets - Has anyone else had good results with it?
I've been prescribed Valtrex 500mg Tablets for a recurrence of shingles and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken it. How effective has it been for you? I've heard it can help with outbreaks, but I'm also seeing some scary side effects listed. Has anyone experienced any of the more serious side effects? I'm particularly worried about kidney problems and allergic reactions. I've only taken it for a few days, and so far, I've just had some mild headaches. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I've never had any serious side effects, but I did get some pretty awful hallucinations once. I felt like I was losing my mind for a bit. I stopped taking it for a while and then started back up with a lower dose. It's been okay since then.
I had a really bad reaction to Valtrex. I started getting these weird seizures and had to stop taking it immediately. Scared the living daylights out of me. My doctor switched me to something else, and it's been fine since then.
I've had a good experience with Valtrex for my genital herpes. No serious side effects, just some stomach upset. Definitely worth it for the relief it provides. Just make sure to stay hydrated and keep an eye on those kidneys.
Valtrex has been great for my shingles, but I did have some really bad hallucinations. I felt like I was losing my mind for a bit. I stopped taking it for a while and then started back up with a lower dose. It's been okay since then. I think you can have a better time with this drug but I don't know about all these side effects...
I've been on Valtrex for a while now, and honestly, it's been a game-changer for my shingles. No more crazy pain or blisters popping up everywhere. Just make sure you stay hydrated. It works well for me.
