I've been taking Tab-A-vite Tablets for a couple of weeks now, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced any side effects. The product contains iron, and I've been getting an upset stomach occasionally. I've also noticed that my stools have changed color to green. I am starting to worry if these are normal side effects or if I need to speak with a doctor. Has anyone else had similar experiences, or does anyone have advice on how to mitigate these side effects? I want to ensure I'm taking the right precautions and staying healthy.

I took Tab-A-vite for a while and had severe stomach cramps. I had to stop taking them. I think my body just didn't react well to the iron. If your symptoms are really bothering you, stop taking them and see a doctor.

I had some really scary allergic reactions when I first started taking them, although it may not have been the same kind. I had to stop immediately.

Maybe try taking them at a different time of day? Sometimes the timing can make a big difference.

I had a fever the first few days taking Tab-A-vite. I thought it was bad, but I think my body was just adjusting to the iron content. Looked up the symptoms and they matched the description. After a few days it got better though.

I've been taking Tab-A-vite for a few weeks and I feel great, but one thing I've changed is I have started to take them at night before bed and with some food.

I had a similar experience with the stool color change. It's usually nothing to worry about if you're taking iron. It's just the iron reacting with your digestive system. But definitely talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I had a friend end up in the ER with serious stomach cramps and black stools. They told her it was from the iron in her multivitamins. Be careful and listen to your body!
