Hey everyone, I've been using Kovaltry for a few months now to manage my Hemophilia A, and I'm curious to hear from others who use it. How has your experience been? Are the side effects as bad as they seem, or is it fairly manageable? Do you feel like it's really making a difference in preventing bleeds? I've had a few minor issues, but I'm wondering if that's just par for the course. Also, any tips on managing the cost? It feels like it's eating into my budget.

I use Kovaltry and Advate interchangeably and have had no issues, but I do get headaches with either. My doc says it could be a side effect of both or unrelated. I've not had any severe side effects, just the headaches.

Yep, it’s expensive, but worth it. Remember, you can often get assistance programs from the manufacturer or non-profits. I'd check into those.

I've been on this for six months and have noticed I can do more—even exercises that used to make me bleed, now it’s a breeze. That said, I'm still super cautious.

I've had some serious side effects, so I'm monitoring closely. I've experienced flare-ups that have been pretty intense – but I can't do without it.

Kovaltry has really improved my quality of life. Before, I was constantly worried about bleeds, but now I feel more in control. It's a bit pricey, but insurance helps a lot.

I had a bad reaction once and had to stop for a while. But my doc said to try Advate because the side effects are milder. It’s a bit scary to think about the reactions maybe just being delayed.

Kovaltry has been a game-changer for me. I used to have frequent bleeds, but since switching to this, it's been much better. The injection site can get irritated, but it's a small price to pay.

I found a fantastic support group online. It's amazing how much better it feels knowing you're not alone in this journey. Plus, they have some great tips on dealing with side effects and insurance issues.
