My mom used this on my burns when I was a kid. I remember it stung a bit but it got me through the worst of the healing. Wasn't it supposed to be a bit cooling? It felt pretty hot to me.
I had a pretty severe reaction to it. I had to stop using it and switch to something else. It was a nightmare. I wish I had known about the potential for Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis before I started using it. I had no idea it would be so bad.
I had to use this after a nasty chemical burn. I was nervous about the side effects, but thankfully, I didn't experience any major issues. Just a bit of skin irritation, but it was manageable. I’d recommend it if you're in a similar situation but make sure you have some strong pain relief.
I had no clue that this cream could cause liver problems. Is that common or rare?
I used this cream after a bad cooking accident. It was a lifesaver, but I did experience some skin irritation. My doctor recommended applying a thin layer and letting it dry before covering the area. That helped a lot. When it got worse I put some water based cream on and it settled down again. It was a bit of a journey though.
