Just make sure to use it as directed and be cautious about the side effects. Always go for the generic brand when possible, but always make sure to keep your eyes peeled for any of the symptoms that could lead to a bad trip to the emergency room.

Just a heads-up, make sure to apply it in a well-ventilated area. The smell can be pretty strong. Otherwise, it’s been effective for my sores

I've found that applying a thin layer and covering it with a clean, sterile dressing works best. It helps the cream stay in place and keeps the wound protected. Silvadene is a lifesaver, but the side effects can be nasty. I had a bad reaction once with a severe rash and itching, ended up in the ER. Definitely keep an eye out for those symptoms. Also, make sure to consult a doctor immediately if you notice any concerning signs
