I've been giving my 3-month-old Simethicone Infant Drops for the past week after our pediatrician recommended it for her gas issues. I've noticed some improvement, but I'm curious about other parents' experiences. Have any of you tried Simethicone Infant Drops? Did they work for your baby? I'd love to hear about any side effects you've noticed and your overall opinion on the product. Also, has anyone tried other remedies or medicines for baby gas, and how did they compare? Thanks in advance for sharing!

I've read the possible side effects, and while I haven't seen any extreme ones, I'm wondering when exactly I should be concerned. I've heard from a friend that sometimes they can cause more harm than good. Should we be worried if we only see minor side effects?

Please only share your experience and advice if you have had experience with Simethicone Infant Drops!

Please do not start using simethicone too early. I started using it too early, and it messed me up bad. I was constipated for the longest time and my bowel movements were just like, eh. Not good at all. I did the smart thing and stopped using it, but I would rather not have had the experience at all.

The dosages they give you are way too small. Next time I am gonna open the damn bottle and just pour some in the baby's mouth. I hate these tiny droppers. They're clearly designed to get you to buy the medicine again and again.

Be careful, there are some potential side effects that are worth looking out for. I'd recommend always consulting with a professional before giving your child any medicine. This is especially true if your child suffers from other health issues. Gas is normally caused by other problems in the body and isn't usually a disease in itself but a symptom of something else. Its worth consulting with a professional to take care of the problem at hand.

My baby had a mild rash after using these drops. We stopped using them, and the rash went away. I called the pediatrician, and they said it might have been an allergic reaction.

My pediatrician advised me not to use simethicone. They said that gas drops are a waste of money and that the gas will go away on its own, but I'm not convinced. My 4th baby clearly has this issue, and I can't imagine how I would've dealt with this without simethicone. Although it's worth noting that the first three did not have this issue at all, so the results are somewhat unpredictable. I am glad that it works for some though, and I will keep using it till my doctor tells me to stop.

I didn't notice any significant improvement with my baby. I've heard that some babies just outgrow the gas issues. I guess we'll have to wait and see. On another note, I think we all underestimated the power of a warm bath and massage — works like a charm for my little one.

How do you guys deal with the inevitable spit-ups that come with gas? I always feel like I'm cleaning up a mess.

I’ve used simethicone drops for my baby and never noticed any side effects. I'm glad to see that some of you have had success as well. Of course, every baby is different, so it's best to consult with a healthcare provider. When dealing with gas, it's essential to keep track of your baby's diet and feeding habits. Sometimes, simple adjustments can make a big difference. Another important thing to consider is the environment. Some babies are more sensitive to their surroundings, and it could be causing the gas issue.

I think these drops are overrated. I've tried them, and they didn't do much for my baby's gas. I've had better results with gripe water and baby massage. I also feel like these medicines make kids dependent on it and that its best to avoid using them if possible.

Game changer for us! Our little one was always fussy after feedings, but these drops have made a world of difference.
