I was recently prescribed Sinequan 10mg Capsules (Doxepin) for my insomnia and anxiety. I've been taking it for about a month now, and while it has helped me sleep better, I've also experienced some side effects like dizziness and dry mouth. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm curious to know if these side effects go away over time or if there are any tips to manage them. Additionally, I've noticed some changes in my sex drive, which is a bit concerning. I've read that this can be a side effect, but I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and how they managed it.

I've been on Sinequan for a few months now and the dizziness did go away after the first week. As for the dry mouth, I've found that sucking on sugar-free hard candy helps a lot. I haven't noticed any changes in my sex drive, but everyone is different. It's worth talking to your doctor about it.

I agree with the dry mouth, it's a real bummer. But I find having a glass of water by my bed helps. I'm on the lower dose for sleep and haven't noticed any other side effects.

I'm on Sinequan for depression and anxiety. It's helped a lot, but I've gained some weight. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they're handling it?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I had a bad allergic reaction to this med. Wasn't worth the risk for me. Might want to keep an eye out for that OP.

I've been on Sinequan for a while and I've just accepted the dry mouth. I chew gum all the time now. But it's worth it for the sleep.

I was really worried about the side effects but honestly, they're manageable. Just drink lots of water and take it easy when you start. It gets better.

I switched to Sinequan for my anxiety and it's been a game-changer. No more racing thoughts keeping me up at night. Definitely worth the dry mouth in exchange for better sleep.
