I was prescribed Sirturo 20mg Tablets to treat drug-resistant TB, and I'm curious about other people's experiences. The drug is known for its effectiveness against tough TB strains, but the side effects list looks extensive. I've been taking it with food as instructed, but I'm not sure how to manage potential side effects or what to expect. Has anyone else here taken Sirturo? If so, what was your experience like? What kind of side effects did you encounter and how did you handle them? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! The more I know, the better I feel for navigating this treatment. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has had liver problems while on this medication? And what can be done to prevent or mitigate it? I've seen in the documentation that the liver is one of the body's systems that can be affected.

Sirturo saved my life, but the journey was rough. I had chest pain and trouble sleeping for the first few weeks. My doctor adjusted my dosage and added some sleep aids, and it got better. Stick with it if you can, but don't suffer in silence.

I'm on Sirturo now and have been for a month. So far, so good—just some headaches and dry skin. I'm taking it with a big meal every time, which seems to help with the stomach issues. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I'm curious, does anyone know if the side effects go away after you finish the treatment? I'm hoping I can get back to normal life soon.

I had a friend who took Sirturo and had to stop because of severe liver problems. It's scary stuff. If you start noticing any signs of liver issues, don't wait—get to a doctor ASAP.

Don’t forget that allergies can also be a huge issue with this medication. Always carry an EpiPen if you are prescribed it.

Here's some advice: Keep a log of your symptoms and side effects. It helped me a lot when discussing with my doctor. Also, don't hesitate to call your doctor if something feels off—better safe than sorry.

I was on Sirturo for about six months. The side effects were tough at first, but manageable. I had some stomach issues and muscle pain, but my doctor helped me manage them with some over-the-counter remedies and adjustments to my diet. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your doctor.

I've heard that Sirturo can interfere with other medications, so be sure to talk to your doctor about everything you're taking. I had to switch a few things around, but it's been fine so far.

I had a friend who had to stop taking Sirturo because of chest pain. You need to keep an eye on that stuff, especially if you have a history of heart issues. It's not worth the risk if you're already in danger.

One thing I wish I'd known earlier is that Sirturo can cause some weird sensations like numbness and tingling. It was really unsettling at first, but my doctor assured me it was normal. Still, it's something to be aware of.
