I recently started taking Slo-Niacin 500mg CR Tablets to help manage my cholesterol levels. So far, it seems to be working, but I've experienced some side effects that I wasn't quite prepared for. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication and their experiences with it. What side effects have you encountered and what strategies have you used to mitigate them? Also, I think its important to discuss the potential emergency side effects, just so everyone is fully informed.

Has anyone else experienced shortness of breath? I’m really worried about this side effect, and I don’t know if I should continue taking it. It's really scary.

I've been taking this med for a few weeks. My cholesterol levels are going down, but I've been dealing with some intense flushing and dizziness. I switched to taking it at night and it seems to help, but I'm still not used to it. Maybe I need to try the aspirin trick.

I've been on Slo-Niacin for a few months now and have not had any side effects. I take it with food and drink plenty of water. I hope it continues to work for me.

I've been on this med for a while and haven't had any major issues. Just the usual flushing and some mild stomach upset. I'm always careful to take it with food and drink plenty of water. It's been a lifesaver for my cholesterol levels.

I had a really bad experience with Slo-Niacin. I started getting these weird muscle pains and my doctor said it was a rare side effect. I had to stop taking it immediately. It was really scary. Be careful and listen to your body.

I've been on Slo-Niacin for a few months now, and the flushing is by far the worst part. It's like my face is on fire! I've started taking aspirin before my dose, and it's helped a lot. Anyone else try this?
