Has anyone tried Sod Sulfa/Sulfur 9.8-4.8% Liquid 285gm for acne, rosacea, or seborrheic dermatitis? I've been using it for a few weeks and have seen some improvement, but I'm worried about the potential side effects. How do you apply it? Does it smell bad? I am a little scared about the rare but severe effects. I'd love to hear your experiences, tips, and any side effects you've encountered. I know everyone's skin is different, but I'd appreciate some advice on how to minimize irritation and maximize results.

I've had to put this away during the summer. I am very sensitive to the sun and it has made me burn easily. It's a bummer because it really helped my skin. I need to get back on it when winter comes around.

Be very careful with this stuff. I started using it for acne and within a week, I had a severe rash. Turns out I was allergic to the sulfacetamide. I had to rush to the ER. I had no idea you had to worry about things like Stevens-Johnson syndrome, It was a scary experience.

I tried this for acne and it made my skin so dry and flaky. It felt like the desert. I had to stop using it. I've switched to a different topical treatment and it's been much better.

I've had success with this for acne, but I make sure to use it sparingly and wash it off after a few hours. It can irritate your skin if you're not careful. It does smell bad, but it works for me.

I've heard horror stories about severe reactions to sulfa drugs. Has anyone else had any issues with this? I feel like a little dry skin is worth it, but I don't want to risk serious side effects.

I've been using this for my seborrheic dermatitis. It works great, but I've noticed some itching. I'm not sure if it's a side effect or just my skin adjusting. I asked my Dr. and he said it could be either. Any advice?

The sulfur smell is definitely noticeable, but it reminds me of the sulfur hot springs I went to once. I put on the treatment at night and wash it off in the morning. Plus I also apply a moisturizer before bed and I have not noticed any dry skin.

I've been using Sulfacetamide with Sulfur for a while. It smells like a volcano, and it did make my skin dry at first, but I started using a moisturizer after application and it helped a lot.
