As a parent, I'm always cautious about giving my kids any kind of medication, even if it's supposed to be good for them. Sodium Fluoride 1.0mg Chewable Tabs are recommended to help make their teeth stronger, but I've heard mixed things about fluoride. Has anyone had experience with these tablets? I want to know the real scoop on safety and effectiveness. How do I know if my kid is getting enough fluoride? And what about the side effects? Are they really that rare, or is that just what the packaging says? I'm curious what other parents and experts have to say about this topic.

I've heard that too much fluoride can cause dental fluorosis. Is that a risk with these tablets?

I've used these with my kids and haven't had any issues. I think it's important for them to stay healthy!

Here's an idea: why not combine the tablets with regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene? Fluoride tablets are a supplement, not a replacement for brushing. Teach your kids to brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and floss regularly. Plus, regular dental check-ups can help catch any issues early.

Do the tablets need to be monitored by a dentist? What about the dosage? Is it safe if they get too much?

Try crushing the tablet and mixing it with something sweet like applesauce or yogurt. Just make sure your kid eats the whole thing.
