I've been using Sodium Sulfacetamide/Sulf 10-2% Sol for a few months now to treat my rosacea, and while it's been effective, I've also experienced some side effects. The medication has helped reduce the redness and bumps on my skin, but I've noticed some dryness and itching. I've also been cautious about the potential for more serious side effects, like allergic reactions or liver problems. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Any tips on how to manage the dryness?

This is a miracle drug. No more acne and my skin is so smooth. I'm grateful.

I had a similar experience. The dryness was intense for the first month, but after I started using a heavy moisturizer at night, it got much better. I also really hope my doctor didn't miss anything in the side effects list. My doctor recommended taking a break every few weeks if I don't experience any irritation.

This stuff is good, but my face drips with sebum after applying it. I've been slathering on the moisturizer, but it's a pain. It seems to be working, though, so I guess I'll keep at it.

I'm really cautious about the sulfa drugs. My friend had a severe reaction to a different sulfa med, so I'm always a bit paranoid. I've been taking it for a week and I haven't noticed any bad side effects yet, but I'm keeping a close eye on things. Keep us posted on how it goes!
