I started using Soliqua 100/33mcg Pen Inj 3ml a few months ago. It's really changed how I manage my type 2 diabetes. This drug combines a long-acting insulin (insulin glargine) and a GLP-1 receptor agonist (lixisenatide) into one shot. I've seen a noticeable improvement in my blood sugar control and feel like I control my blood sugar a lot better. I take it once daily, and it seems to work well with my diet and exercise routine. However, I've had a few side effects like nausea and constipation. Everyone's experience is different, so I wanted to hear from others who are taking Soliqua about their experiences and any tips they might have? My doctor warned me about the potential severe side effects, and I’ve been keeping an eye out for any signs of those. How have you found the transition to this medication? Any particular side effects or benefits that stood out to you?

I've been on Soliqua for a while and haven't had any major issues. I take it at bedtime, which seems to work best for me. It's helped me manage the meal times and snacks so I don't have to worry about those as much, which is great. I think it's important to monitor your blood sugar levels regularly and talk to your doctor about any concerns.

Did anyone else experience weight gain? I've put on a few pounds since starting, and I'm not sure if it's the medication or just my diet. Overall, I think the benefits outweigh the downsides, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Anyone else feel like the injection site irritation is getting worse over time? I've tried rotating sites and keeping the area clean, but it's still an issue. Just curious if anyone has any tips or has spoken to their doctor about this.

I've been on Soliqua for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer. My A1C levels have dropped significantly, and I feel more energetic throughout the day. The main side effect I've experienced is some stomach discomfort, but it's manageable. Definitely worth the trade-off for better blood sugar control.
