So, I've been prescribed Sorafenib 200mg Tablets for my kidney cancer and I have a mix of feelings. My doctor assured me it's great for blocking those pesky kinases and stopping the cancer from growing, but the side effects list is a bit alarming and I have some questions. I heard it can cause hair loss, which is tough enough, but what about the more severe stuff? Anyone else on this journey? Wondering how others are handling it and if there are any tips or tricks to managing the side effects. I'm also curious about how it goes with other medicines. Any thoughts or experiences are welcome!

I had a bad reaction to Sorafenib and had to stop taking it. My body couldn't handle it and I experienced severe bleeding. It was scary, but luckily I was in a hospital at the time.

Godspeed you and everyone taking this. The side effects are rough, but it's worth it to fight the cancer. I know it feels like a nightmare, but I hope you find a way to manage it.

That sounds like a tough journey. I know someone who was on Sorafenib and they found that taking it in the morning helped with nausea. Might be worth a shot!

I have been on it for a year and the worst part by far is loss of appetite. I've struggled with food a lot. But the good news is that in a year, I've had no other major side effects. Each person is different, though.

I was on Sorafenib for my thyroid cancer and it was rough at first, especially with the fatigue and diarrhea. But I found that a strict diet and staying hydrated helped a lot. I also had some harsh side effects at first, but my body adjusted after a few weeks.

My husband was on Sorafenib for his kidney cancer and the cortisol from the steroid helped with the side effects a lot.

My girlfriend was on it and the biggest problem was the severe headache or dizziness. She had to stop taking it for a while, but the doctors told her it was just the medicine.

I have kidney cancer too but I'm not sure I want to go on Sorafenib. I go to the hospital next week to learn about other treatment types. Anyone have different experiences with other treatments?
