This thread is a quick introduction about Spevigo, a medicine given by intravenous infusion to treat sudden flare-ups of a rare skin condition called Generalized Pustular Psoriasis (GPP). It works by blocking a specific protein in your body that causes inflammation in GPP.

I recently started using Spevigo 150mg/ml Pf Syr Inj, 1ml for my GPP, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar side effects. I've heard about the potential for serious side effects but want to know if others have had any issues with the less severe ones. I've been feeling unusually tired and have had some joint pain, but it's not too concerning yet.

Has anyone had any tips for dealing with the injection site reactions? I've noticed some bruising and redness, and I'm not sure if there's a way to minimize it.

Also, curious if anyone else had to deal with the FDA reporting process for side effects? Does anyone have experience coordinating with their healthcare professionals to report any side effects and how, if at all, this impacted their ongoing treatment?

I was so scared of the side effects, but I've been lucky so far. Just a bit of fatigue and a headache here and there. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I've been keeping a log of everything just in case.

I reported the side effects to the FDA online. It was actually pretty straightforward. I filled out the form on their website and received confirmation within a few days. My doctor had also told me about this Spevigo registry which I've just started to keep track of everything for my next appointment.

I've been on Spevigo for a few months now, and while I've had some mild side effects like fatigue and headaches, it's been manageable. My biggest concern was the injection site reactions, but my nurse showed me a technique to apply gentle pressure and use cold compresses, which has helped a lot.

Just started Spevigo and already having some issues. I got a fever and chills a few days after the first injection. I called my doctor, and they said it might be a reaction to the drug and to monitor it closely.

I've been on Spevigo for a year now, and while it's been effective for my GPP, I've had to deal with some pretty severe headaches and joint pain and it's just not worth it to me anymore. Ask your doctor about how to switch off of it.

You mentioned bruising at the injection site; are you using an ice pack or heat pack? I've heard both can help.

I've had some pretty bad diarrhea since starting Spevigo. My doctor suggested some over-the-counter meds to help manage it, but it's still a hassle. I've been keeping a close eye on it and have been in contact with my dermatologist.

I had a really bad experience with Spevigo. I noticed some redness and swelling at the injection site and then it just got worse. I had a migraine and joint pain for a few days after that. I felt like a truck hit me! I'm not sure if I should continue it, worried about allergic reactions.
