I just started using Spiriva Respimat 2.5mcg Inh 4gm 10d for my chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). I was wondering if anyone else has used this inhaler and had any side effects or tips to share. The instructions say it can help open up the airways and make breathing easier, but I'm a bit nervous about the serious side effects listed. Like, it says to seek immediate medical attention for severe breathing problems. That's scary! Has anyone experienced this, or do I just need to calm down? I'm using it once a day as prescribed, but I feel like I'm holding my breath waiting for something bad to happen. Also, does anyone have advice on dealing with the dry mouth and nose irritation? It's not terrible, but it's annoying. Any tips?

The side effects sounds a bit scary! But remember, if you experience any serious symptoms, seek medical help immediately. It's always better to be cautious.

I've had issues with constipation, but it was pretty mild. Just drink plenty of water and eat fiber-rich foods to help with that.

I've been on Spiriva for a few years now, and it's been a game-changer for me. The dry mouth and nasal irritation are annoying, but nothing a bit of lip balm and nasal spray can't fix. Just make sure to use it at the same time every day to keep your routine consistent.

I started getting some eye irritation after a few weeks. I thought it was just allergies at first, but my doctor said it could be related to the medication. Nothing serious, but worth mentioning.

I stopped using it because of the side effects. But the inability to breathe scared the crap out of me. You really need to weigh the pros and cons with your doctor.

I used to not be able to breathe without it. Spent a lot of time in hospital. It's scary when you can't breathe, but it's worth it.

I've been using it for a couple of months and it has been a lifesaver. Just make sure you're using it correctly and following the instructions. I use a spacer with it, which helps a lot.

I'm on my third prescription, and it's been a lifesaver. It took a while to get used to the side effects, but they've been manageable. Just make sure you're using it correctly and following the instructions.

I'm on my second prescription, and I love how easy it is to use. Just make sure you're using it correctly - there's a technique to get the most out of it. I also found that drinking plenty of water helped with the dry mouth.

I've had no issues with it, and it's really helped my breathing. Just make sure you're using it correctly and following the instructions. I use mine every night before bed and I sleep so much better.
