I was recently prescribed Spironolactone 25mg/5ml Oral Susp for high blood pressure and edema. I've been on it for a few weeks and have noticed some improvements, but I'm also experiencing some side effects. Anyone else on this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially with side effects like dizziness or hair loss. Also, how do you manage taking this medication with other meds? I'm curious about potential interactions. Thanks!

I'm not sure what to make of the side effects I've been experiencing. Sometimes I feel fine, other times my heart races and I feel super dizzy. I don't know what to think of this medication.

Has anyone else noticed changes in their menstrual cycle while on Spironolactone? I've been experiencing some irregularities and it feels like it's been going on forever. I dread the side effects.

I'm worried about the electrolyte issues with this med. Anyone used an electrolyte supplement successfully? I hope it's not an issue.

I've been on Spironolactone for a while now and it's been a lifesaver for my edema. However, I did experience some hair loss initially, but it seems to have stabilized. As for the dizziness, I find that taking it with food helps a lot. It's also a good idea to stay hydrated and avoid sudden movements.

This stuff is a godsend for my edema, but I had to stop taking it because of the dizziness. I get dizzy with even the slightest movement. Not worth it for me.

I've been on Spironolactone for a couple of months and have noticed some improvement in my blood pressure. However, I've been experiencing some dizziness and fatigue. It's tough to tell if it's the medication or something else. Any tips on managing these side effects?

Dizziness can be managed with some lifestyle changes, such as avoiding sudden movements and staying hydrated. But for some, it might be too much trouble. I've got a medical app that suggested that but I've not tried it yet.
