I recently started taking Ergocalciferol 8000u/ml (D2) Drops for a vitamin D deficiency and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this. I've read about the potential side effects and I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone else experienced any issues while taking this? I want to make sure I'm not alone in feeling a bit anxious about the possible allergic reactions.

I had a friend who had this prescription and she had a lot of nausea and some itching. She had to switch to a different form of Vitamin D

I've heard D2 can be harder to absorb than D3. But it's cheaper and more accessible. So it might be worth it for a lot of people who can't afford D3.

I've been on these drops for about 3 months now and haven't had any issues. My doctor monitored my levels and adjusted the dose. Don't worry too much about the side effects, they are rare. Just make sure to take them correctly.

I had some weird GI issues when I started taking them. Nothing too bad. I've heard some people have trouble absorbing the D2 form, though

Does anyone know if it's okay to take these drops with other supplements? I'm already taking a multivitamin and I don't want to overdo it

My doctor told me that Ergocalciferol is great for quickly boosting Vitamin D levels. I started with a high dose and then tapered down. No issues so far, but I'm always careful to take it with food

I switched to ErgoD2 after having digestive problems with other medicines. I take mine with meals, and I'm not having any issues

These drops are a lifesaver! I've always struggled with low Vitamin D, and these have really helped. My bones feel stronger and I haven't had any side effects. Just make sure to take them consistently

I've been taking Ergocalciferol for a while now and the only side effect I've had is slightly increased thirst. Nothing too bad. But I can see why the allergies would be scary
