I've seen stories about people on Capecitabine having severe reactions to citrus and other acidic foods. It might be a good idea to avoid those while you're taking the medication.
For dealing with hair loss, consider getting a wig before you start losing hair. It's harder to match your hair color and style once you've lost it. Also, look into cold caps. Some people have a lot of success with them.
My sister had to stop taking Capecitabine but she recommended talking to your doctor about the IV anti-nausea medication - she said that was a game changer for her when she took those. She also found that the skin problems and ulcers cleared up quickly with an antibiotic
Stay strong! I was on Capecitabine for colon cancer and the side effects were tough, but manageable. I found that staying hydrated and eating small, frequent meals helped a lot with the nausea and stomach pain.
