Etravirine has been a good addition to my treatment, but I've had to deal with a few rough patches. I developed a rash a couple of months in, and it was pretty scary because I wasn't sure if it was a side effect or an allergic reaction. Turned out to be a mild skin reaction, but it still took a while to go away. My doctor advised me to keep an eye on it and monitor for any signs of Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS).
