Story of Alun: A Must-Play for Fans of Emotional and Philosophical Games
I've just started playing "Story of Alun" and I'm already blown away by the depth of the storytelling. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans are extinct, and you play as Alun, a member of the Vulpari, a fantasy species. The game is deeply emotional with a lot of philosophical undertones, which makes it incredibly engaging. I especially love the way it follows Alun's parallel narratives and allows you to explore and interact with the world. Has anyone else played this game? What are your thoughts?

The game is a masterclass in how to create a lush, immersive world. I'd love to see more games like this. There’s a real sense of loss and longing in the world, which makes the exploration meaningful.
I haven't played it yet, but I've heard so many good things about it. I'm planning to pick it up soon, especially since I'm a fan of post-apocalyptic settings.
The game is beautifully written but I wish there was more of a traditional combat system. The way it is now is very passive. I think it could be more exciting.
I feel like the philosophical themes can be a bit overbearing sometimes, but overall it's a fantastic game. The way it explores morality and the nature of existence is really thought-provoking. It's definitely not for everyone, though.
I played this game last year and was amazed by the emotional depth. The way it handles loss and existential questions is truly unique. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a deep narrative experience.
My friend recommended this game because he knew I loved emotional stories. He said the characters are the type that stay with you long after you finish the game. He was right.
I'm loving the exploration aspect - the world-building is top-notch. I've spent hours just wandering, taking in the environment. The interactive elements are also incredibly satisfying. The Vulpari culture is surprisingly rich and well-developed.
My favorite part is the environmental storytelling. The world is so rich with lore and history, even the stuff that's not directly part of the main plot is interesting. Every little thing seems so perfectly placed.
