I've been on Sublocade for the past 6 months, and it's been a game-changer in managing my opioid use disorder. The once-a-month injection has made it easier to focus on other aspects of recovery, like counseling and support, rather than worrying about daily medication. I wanted to share my experience and hear from others who have tried Sublocade. What has worked and what hasn't? This medication is part of a complete treatment plan, so I'd love to hear about the counseling and support aspects as well. How has it changed your recovery journey?

Sublocade is a godsend. I've been clean for 6 months now, and it's the longest I've gone without relapse in years. The counseling and support have been just as important, though. Don't underestimate the power of a good support system. It's really important to stay in touch with your counselor and make sure they understand your needs.

I've been on Sublocade for about a year now, and I have to say, the injection site reactions were pretty tough at first. I got some lumps and swelling, but my doctor assured me it was normal. I've found that applying a cold pack to the area for about 20 minutes after the injection helps a lot. Also, take some ibuprofen — trust me! It's a lifesaver. Just make sure to talk to your doctor first if you want to try that. Anyone else have any tips for dealing with injection site reactions?

I'm still new to Sublocade, just started a month ago. I've heard a lot about the side effects, but so far, I've only experienced some constipation and upset stomach. I'm hoping it gets better with time. Has anyone found a good laxative that works well wit Sublocade?

I was really nervous about the injection at first, but it's honestly not that bad. It's just a little pinch, and it's over before you know it. My advice is to just relax and take a deep breath. The healthcare provider really knows what they are doing. Just don't tense up and it will go smoothly.
