I've been battling plantar warts for months, and my doctor prescribed Salicylic Acid 6% Gel 40gm. I've seen mixed reviews online and am curious about others' experiences. Has anyone had success with this treatment? Any tips on application or duration? Also, are the side effects as harsh as they sound, or do they usually subside quickly? Let's share our stories and advice to help each other out!

I used this gel for a few weeks and it worked wonders on my plantar warts. I applied it nightly and covered it with a bandage. It did sting a bit at first, but it got better over time.

I've been using Salicylic Acid 6% gel for about two months now, and it's helped a lot with my warts. I apply it every night before bed and use a pumice stone in the morning to gently rub off the dead skin. It's a bit of a process, but it's definitely working.

If anyone has a good home remedy for salicylic gel stinging burning and peeling, I'd love to hear. It's a bit intense.

Be careful with this stuff. My skin got really dry and irritated. I had to stop using it for a bit and let my skin recover. Make sure to moisturize the surrounding skin well.

I got some pretty bad side effects. It made my feet peel really badly and I had a rash. I had to go to the doctor to get a cream to help with the swelling, and it took a while to recover.

Be aware of the side effects. If you feel dizzy or get a rash, stop using it and call your doctor. I had to switch to a different treatment because of the side effects.

I’ve heard it can take a while to see results, so be patient. I was using it for a month with some improvement. I'll keep going and see if it continues to improve.

This stuff is a lifesaver but it needs to be applied consistently and exactly as prescribed. Wearing socks helps avoid spreading it to other areas.
