Sulfacetamide 10%/sulfur 5% Lotion: My Experience and Questions
I've been using Sulfacetamide 10%/sulfur 5% Lotion for a few weeks now to treat my rosacea. It's been helping with the redness and breakouts, but I'm curious about others' experiences. How long did it take to see results? What kind of side effects did you experience and how did you manage them? Also, I've heard that some people have had severe reactions. Is this something I should be worried about? Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

First, you have to be patient. Started seeing results after about 2-3 weeks. I also noticed some mild itching but nothing too bad. Moisturizer is key. Also, if you're worried, talk to your doc.
I used it for a while, but the itching was unbearable. I switched to a different topical treatment and it's been better. Maybe it's just my sensitive skin, but I wish I'd known about the potential side effects.
Has anyone tried any home remedies in addition to this lotion? I hear some people use tea tree oil and it seems to help a bit.
I never experienced any severe side effects but I know people who did. Personally, I'd rather deal with dry skin and itching than have a severe reaction. It's all about the individual reaction.
This stuff is a lifesaver for my seborrheic dermatitis. I noticed a difference in just a week. The dry skin was a bit annoying but manageable.
I've seen mixed reviews but I think it's worth a shot. Try it for a couple weeks and if it's not working, maybe it's not for you. Definitely something to discuss with your dermatologist too.
I had a bad reaction to it. The rash got worse, and I had to stop using it. Definitely consult your doctor if you notice anything weird.
