I've been on it for a while. I had some bad dreams and hallucinations at the beginning but it got better. Also, any suggestions for dealing with the weight gain?
I've been on Surmontil for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for me. The side effects were tough at first, but they've mostly subsided. Just be patient and give your body time to adjust. And talk to your doctor if the symptoms are too rough.
I’ve been on it for 6 months, and honestly, the side effects were worth it. My depression has lifted, and I feel like myself again. Just be aware of the side effects and don’t hesitate to go to the doctors if you experience any of the more serious symptoms.
I don’t know if it’s the medication or just my body, but I’ve had some weird mouth issues and changes in tongue color. Anyone else?
I tried it for a month and had a mild case of serotonin syndrome. It was scary. My doctor switched me to something safer.
Be careful with this one. I had a terrible reaction to it. Severe constipation and stomach pain were unbearable. I had to switch to something else.
I found that taking it with food helped with the drowsiness. Also, it's important to stay hydrated—dry mouth is a real thing on this med!
I’m afraid to try it because of the side effects. Has anyone had a positive experience with their doctor managing these side effects?
My sister was on it for a few months and the ringing in her ears was unbearable. She had to switch.
I've been on a few different antidepressants, so I'm not sure if it was the Medication but I've had some trouble controlling my body movements and weird burning sensations in my hands and feet.
