Okay, so I just started taking Prednisone 5mg for my allergic reaction and I'm already freaking out about the side effects. I mean, it's a list a mile long. Has anyone else taken this and if so, what was your experience like? I'm particularly worried about the more severe side effects — is anyone familiar with managing those? I had to take Prednisone for my asthma flare-up, and the muscle weakness was the worst. It made daily tasks so difficult. But don't let that scare you; it's what happens when you're on heavy doses for long periods. Just manage it and keep exercising.
