I've been recently prescribed Aptiom 400mg tablets for my epilepsy. I've heard it can be effective but also has some serious side effects. Has anyone else switched to Aptiom from other medications like Keppra or Lamictal? What was your experience like? Did you have many side effects? And, if so, how did you manage them? I'm a bit nervous about starting this new medication, so I'd love to hear from others who have been through this.

I've been managing my epilepsy with Aptiom for over a year now. It's been a lot better than my old medication, but I did have some issues with low sodium levels. I had to monitor my diet and drink electrolyte drinks to keep my levels up. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it if my seizures are under control.

Aptiom has been great for my seizures, but I've had some really bad muscle weakness and pain. It's been hard to do my daily activities. I'm thinking about switching back to something else.

I switched to Aptiom from Keppra last year and it's been a game-changer. I had some initial dizziness and fatigue, but those went away after a few weeks. The worst part was the funky taste in my mouth — I'm pretty sure it came from the medicine.

Aptiom has been a lifesaver for me. I did have some issues with my eyesight, but it's better than having seizures. Just be careful and listen to your body.

I've been on Aptiom for a couple of months and I think I'm having issues with liver problems. I've had dark urine and light-colored stools. I'm starting to panic a bit. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm glad Aptiom has been helpful for some of you, but it seems like a lot of people are having serious side effects. I'm not sure if I want to switch now. Any thoughts?

I've had some issues with dizziness and drowsiness, but nothing I can't handle. I've been taking it for a few months and it's been good so far. Do any of you have trouble breathing or chest pain with Aptiom? I heard that some people have serious issues.
