I recently started using Budesonide/Formoterol 80/4.5mcg (120 Inh) for my asthma management after my doctor recommended it. This inhaler combines a corticosteroid (budesonide) and a long-acting bronchodilator (formoterol). The corticosteroid helps reduce inflammation in the lungs, making it easier to breathe, while the bronchodilator helps open up the airways for up to 12 hours. It's designed to be used regularly, usually twice a day, to prevent asthma attacks. However, it's not for sudden breathing problems. I'm curious to hear about others' experiences with this medication, especially regarding side effects and overall effectiveness. Has anyone else had success with it, or do you have any tips for managing side effects?

This inhaler really helps with my asthma, but I did notice some mouth irritation. My doctor recommended a mouth rinse after using it, and that seemed to help.

I've had a few episodes where it felt like the inhaler wasn't working right, but I just switched out the canister and it was fine. Make sure to keep track of your doses!

I wish my insurance covered this medication! It's a bit pricey, but if it works well, it might be worth looking into patient assistance programs.

I've been using this for a while now and I've had no issues. But I'm a bit worried about the potential serious side effects. Has anyone here experienced any of those?

I've been on this for a few months and it's been a game-changer. My asthma symptoms have significantly improved, and I have fewer flare-ups. The only side effect I've noticed is a bit of throat irritation, but it's manageable. Make sure to rinse your mouth after using it to avoid oral thrush.

This inhaler has been a lifesaver for my COPD. I used to have trouble breathing and wheezing all the time, but now it's much better. Just make sure to use it regularly as prescribed.

Ditto on the throat irritation. The doctor recommended using a spacer with the inhaler, which has helped a lot. It took some getting used to, but it's worth it for the improved control over my asthma.

Be careful with this one. My friend experienced some severe side effects like muscle cramps and increased thirst. I'd suggest keeping an eye out for those symptoms and talking to your doctor if you notice anything unusual.

The drying mouth is quite miserable. I use a humidifier at night and that helps me to keep it from being completely unbearable
