Novolin NPH has been a lifesaver for me. I started using it a few months ago and my blood sugar levels have been much more stable. I haven't had any side effects other than a few hiccups with injection sites at the beginning.
I just started it and I think I'm having an allergic reaction. My skin is all red an my throat feels tight. Should I be worried? What do I do?
I switched from Lantus to Novolin NPH and I've had some issues with low potassium levels. Muscle cramps and weakness are no fun. I've been eating more bananas and potatoes to keep my potassium up, which seems to help.
I wish I could say the same. It took me a while to figure out the right dose and timing, but once I did, it's been a game-changer for me.
