Symdeko is a revolutionary medication designed to improve the lives of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients aged 6 years and older. By targeting the faulty protein responsible for CF symptoms, Symdeko combines tezacaftor and ivacaftor to enhance lung function and alleviate other CF-related issues. The drug's effectiveness has been widely recognized, but like all medications, it comes with a list of potential side effects. From mild issues like dizziness and stomach upset to severe, life-threatening allergic reactions, it's crucial for patients to stay informed. Has anyone here tried Symdeko? What has your experience been like? Is it worth the potential risks?

I'm curious about the long-term effects. Anyone know if there are any studies tracking patients over several years? Just want to make sure this isn't a short-term fix.

I'm not a fan of medication that comes with such a long list of side effects. Even if it helps, it's important to weigh the pros and cons.

Symdeko has been a blessing. The combination of tezacaftor and ivacaftor has made a noticeable difference in my daily life. I've had some mild headaches, but nothing unbearable. Definitely worth it for the improvement in lung function.

I've been on Symdeko for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver. My lung function has improved significantly, and I haven't experienced any major side effects. It's a game-changer!

It does sound like it's worth the potential risks but you should always be very vigilant. Even if you haven't experienced any severe side effects yet, keep an eye on everything and don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor!

I've had some issues with the liver symptoms. Dark urine, tiredness, and decreased appetite. Fortunately, I caught it early and my doctor adjusted my dosage.
