I've recently been prescribed Symlinpen 120 Inj (Pramlintide) and I'm curious to hear from others who have used this to manage their Type 2 diabetes. I've always used insulin but I'd love to know if taking this alongside insulin helps control blood sugar levels. How noticeable is the feeling of fullness, and has anyone experienced any significant side effects? I'd love to hear any tips or advice on how to best incorporate this into a daily routine.

I've had some issues with the injection sites becoming really swollen and irritated. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you manage it? I'm getting pretty fed up with the discomfort.

My doctor warned me about the side effects, and I was nervous at first. But honestly, it's been manageable and the benefits have been worth it. No more constant hunger pangs, and my blood sugar is finally stable.

Be careful with this stuff. I tried it and had some intense stomach issues. It might be great for some but not for me. I ended up going back to my old routine.

I felt so full after using Symlinpen for the first time I could barely finish my meal. I think that's the biggest benefit for a lot of people with type 2 like me.

Does anyone know if there's a generic version of this yet? The cost is a bit steep for me, and insurance barely covers it which makes me reluctant to switch.
