I've been prescribed Symproic (naldemedine) to manage constipation from my opioid pain medication. It's been a life saver. I've had to deal with a lot of painkillers after an injury and constipation was a huge problem. My doctor recommended Symproic, and it has made a world of a difference. This is the first time I've heard about it. How many people have tried it? Did you know it works by blocking the effects of opioids specifically in the gut? Opioid-induced constipation is a serious side effect, and I finally have a solution. However, I do worry about the potential side effects and anything I can look out for.

I tried Symproic for a few weeks and had some stomach pain and diarrhea. I had to stop taking it. I hope it works out for you, though. It's tough finding a balance with these meds. Have you reported your side effects to the FDA?

I can't believe this drug works so well. And thank god it doesn't affect the pain relief. If you are dealing with opioid induced constipation, talk to your doctor.

Thank you for the info. I’m considering asking my doctor about this. It sounds like a good option if it does what you say. Keep us posted on how you’re feeling.

I think it's important to note that while Symproic can help with constipation, it's crucial to discuss any concerns with your doctor. I've had to adjust my dosage a few times to get the right balance. But it's been worth it.

I had a horrible allergic reaction to this drug. Swelling and rashes. Not worth the risk for me. If you experience something like this, seek medical attention right away. It could be life-threatening.

I've heard mixed reviews about this. The side effects list is pretty lengthy. Did you experience any of them? I tried it but got really nauseous. I had to stop. Just a heads up to anyone considering it and the side effects to look out for.
