I've been taking Synthroid (Levothyroxine) 0.137mg tablets for a while now to manage my hypothyroidism. It's been a game-changer for my energy levels and metabolism, but I've also experienced some side effects that I want to share and discuss. Initially, I felt really tired and weak, which I've heard is common when starting the medication. However, I've also had some bouts of diarrhea and stomach cramps, which can be a bit uncomfortable. I've also noticed some hair loss, but my doctor reassured me that it's temporary and should resolve within a few months. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons, but I'm curious to know how others are coping with these side effects and if there are any tips for managing them. Also, anyone else experience any serious side effects? Let's share our experiences and support each other.

Synthroid has been a lifesaver for me, but it's taken a while to find the right dose. Still getting used to the side effects, like mood swings and sensitivity to heat. It's tough, but it's worth it to feel like myself again.

I've been meaning to switch to a different thyroid medication, but my doctor insists that Synthroid is the best option for me. Have any of you tried other medications and had a better experience? The side effects are just too much for me to handle.

For me, Synthroid has been a miracle drug. I’ve felt so much better since starting it. I didn’t have any of these side effects you mentioned, but everyone is different. Maybe talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose?

I totally get what you're saying about the fatigue. It was brutal for the first few weeks, but it eventually leveled out. Just stick with it, and you should see improvement! Also, drinking plenty of water and eating smaller meals helped me with the stomach issues.

I've been meaning to talk to my doctor, but I'm just so tired all the time. I'm glad to see there are others out there going through the same thing. It's hard to focus at work when I'm always so tired.
